August 27th saw another concert by our local musician Alice Earll as part of the 'Ensemble Molliere'. The talented young members of the group, currently students at prestigious music colleges, were Alice Earll (violin) from Kempley together with Satoko Doi-Luck (harpsichord) from Japan and Kate Conway (viol da gamba) from London, performed a rich programme of baroque music from the courts of Europe during the 17th and 18th centuries.

The good sized audience enjoyed lively and engaging performances in a candlelit St Mary’s Church and everyone appreciated the thoughtful explanations provided by each of the instrumentalists both about their instruments and the music that they performed.
